We have now opened up our Co-regulation programme at Ways of Being; a supportive and nurturing programme designed for children and the adults who care for them. Our intention is to gently foster a place for a deeper understanding, a strengthened connection, and opportunities to discover your ways of regulating together.

As with all that we offer at Ways of Being, our focus remains the same here, to nurture your authenticity through welcoming and nourishing spaces.

Created and delivered by Stacey, the founder of Ways of Being, the programme combines:

• yoga and conscious movements for all abilities

• calming breathing practices

•self awareness building

• psycho education around emotions, regulation and our automatic nervous system responses

• connection and communication explorative activities

• relaxation and wellbeing tools for both children and adults

This programme is designed for children and young people to participate in alongside a parent at or carer at home and/or support staff working within educational settings, nurture groups, SEN settings or Environments where families and professionals are supporting children with understanding their emotional regulation needs, anxiety, overwhelm, or big feelings.

My approach is warm, trauma-informed, and relationship-focused, helping both children and adults feel safe, understood, and supported in finding their own ways of being.

This is not a clinical psychotherapy intervention.

At Ways of Being, we believe regulation happens through safe, connected relationships. Our Co- regulation programme is both educational and skills based and delivered in a person centered and child led way. It is intended to help those involved to better understand their internal systems and emotional needs and responses while learning practical tools to feel more connected, self aware and more confident and capable in their everyday lives.

Our live online programme runs over a 6 week period of receiving x1 sessions weekly.

Each session is approximately 2 hours long with a short break included.

Each week has it’s own theme:

Safety and rhythm, adult regulation first, play as learning, repair and connect, emotional literacy, integration and daily rituals.

Sessions are gentle, inclusive, interactive and accessible, creating a safe space to build emotional awareness, sensory needs, resilience, and connection together.

Each person will leave with practical strategies that can be used in real time at home, in schools, and within support settings long after the programme ends.

Additionally, we have unique and bespoke co regulation training opportunities to offer, to up skill adults and increase their confidence in feeling more able to recognise, respond to and connect with children and their needs. We hope together that we can give young minds a place to feel understood and to flourish.
