“I relate my beliefs to a part of myself which yearns for freedom. This freedom I long for is familiar to me in the respect of feeling limited by society, rules and conditions placed upon me from an early age, emerging a need to feel free.”

Yoga with Ways of Being

We reflect the parts of nature and seasons as a way of connecting with the earth and its rhythm, which is within us all too.

The elements of nature, analogies, grounding, rooted, animal exploration and primal instincts that  reflect our natural ways of being within the world. This speaks largely to the way which I also work as a therapist and how I would like to share yoga spaces.

Rhythm and fluidity – where we  will have loose structure and routine with the option to adapt to mirror the energy of the group

Values and morals are weaved within our sessions; to allow for reflection of our own and those of others

I aspire for our sessions to feel wholesome and well rounded in the sense of having a full visceral experience along with intellect.

driven by strong desire to promote empowerment through passion led spaces, to support those experiencing social injustices, poverty, alternative educations provisions, neurodiversity’s, SEN, oppression; cultural or systemic or traumatic life events.

what we all need

tools to regulate big feelings

promoting mental health in a nurturing way

awareness; body, mind and soul

healthy bodies, mind and souls, happy hearts

self-sufficient routines and tools to cope with/manage change

a safe space, non-judgemental community

social interaction with other children/parents

to feel seen and understood; to be able to flourish

safety; within the environment and the self, to express themselves freely

parents may just need a break and a place where their child can just be themselves with no expectations. (I want to offer spaces which evoke a feeling of belonging, where you can just show up as you are and that's that's enough!)

tools and new ways to re connect and/or bond with their children (especially useful for SENCO and neurodiverse children after overwhelming moments)

how we meet this in yoga classes?

by sharing valuable tools to support children with big feelings (independent and parent-child tools)

routined sessions to promote self-awareness around (breath, movement, consistency, identifying feelings and emotions)

by exploring emotional literacy within the sessions in a fun and interactive way

all sessions will be rooted in nervous system awareness and will offer reflection points

through creative expressions, using our voice, our truth or satya, through explorative movement, visuals, fun, meditation, sound, sensory elements, colourfulness, intuition and culture.

by building confidence within parents and children to be able to take what they experience off the mat and into their world and the wider world. I believe that this is where the real change happens, when we are able to make the small but powerful changes within our own reactions, how we speak with others and to ourselves, the boundaries we place in our lives and how we hold ourselves accountable

Testimonials

“Watching Stacey work with young children over the summer holiday wellness programme was pure magic. She brings such a wealth of knowledge and passion. Seeing the children arrive hyperactive and unregulated, and then less than an hour later lying calmly on the floor with an eye mask on, was just beautiful.

Her approach to children’s yoga, mindfulness and more is truly amazing.”

 Lauren Ruane, Flow Fitness.

“Stacey is an absolute joy to work with. I first encountered her work when my daughter attended one of her sessions, and it was immediately clear how naturally and confidently she connects with children and families. I later invited Stacey to be the lead children’s and family wellbeing practitioner at our Mind Body Soul Festival, welcoming around 300 attendees, where she delivered her work with ease, clarity, and professionalism.

She has an exceptional ability to put families at ease, creating safe, nurturing spaces where both children and parents feel supported. Her experience, knowledge, and intuitive approach make her an invaluable practitioner, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any organisation or family seeking meaningful, high-quality wellbeing support.”

Trinity Wellness CIC, Liverpool.

“Stacey reminds us that true teaching is not in instruction, but in the quiet presence that invites others to breathe, soften, and grow. We are deeply grateful to share space with Stacey, a truly soulful, calm, and nurturing presence within our community. Over the past year of collaboration, I have witnessed the magic she brings to every yoga and craft session she offers for children. Stacey holds her work with kindness, honesty, and deep integrity, creating a safe and gentle space where children can breathe, move, create, and simply be. Her energy is grounding and reassuring, and her experience shines through in the way she connects so naturally with young hearts.

Stacey’s work is guided by compassion and purpose, and I can clearly see her continuing to grow from strength to strength, weaving wellbeing, creativity, and calm into our community for many years to come.”
